I’m like 100% positive Caleb is the one that sent her that text because you can see the Apple Rose Grille behind her in the scene where he says I’m -A. I think he sent her that text because it was the only way he was going to get her to admit there is a new -A. He knew that Hanna would never tell him on her own so he tricked her into it. Then after that scene Caleb kisses her because now he realizes why she was lying to him and why she was going to Radley.
